Vinita Nair

The station was founded in July of 2004 and began reporting on a wide range of subjects, such as her report on the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and the school shootings at Bailey, Colorado. Nair started her role as an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 for ABC News Now. For her work as a reporter, she was able to provide live coverage and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair anchors World News Now on ABC starting on September 17 the 17th of September, 2008. until February 18, 2011, and America This Morning. For both of these shows Nair was initially paired together with Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. On Thursday, February 17, 2011, Nair declared that Friday, February 18was her final evening on air on World News Now. She would also have one final day of work for ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was her immediate successor. The issue of February 18 on World News Now paid tribute to Nair throughout its three segments, including appearances by current and former colleagues including Jeremy Hubbard.
