Miesha Theresa
Miesha Theresa Tate, an American mixed-martial arts expert. Tate is also an expert in mixed martial arts. Tate competed in Ultimate Fighting Championships. She was the UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Her birthplace was in Tacoma and has been involved in sports since her high school years. As she was attending Central Washington University Central Washington University, she began attending the club for mixed martial art when it was suggested by one of her friends. At her first amateur match, she took on Elizabeth Posener (a Muay Thai master) aged 20. She made her debut as a professional at the HOOKnSHOOT One-Night Women's Grand Prix event in 2007. Within two years, she was the FCF Women's Bantamweight Champion the first time. Tate received praise for her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu style as well as her wrestling. In the following years, her renown gained momentum when she became the first woman to be awarded the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship. In addition to her mixed martial art career, she has a modeling career on different websites and publications, such as "ESPN The Magazine" as well as "Fitness Gurls". The character is playable in the video game EA Sports UFC as well.
