Lars joined the military following his school days. He completed nine months of basic military duty in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment of the Danish army. The military experience wasn't an ideal choice, so he searched for something else after having completed it and decided then to pursue a degree in biology. Anette returned from a juggler's workshop and showed Lars how many she could juggle in three days, despite the fact that Lars had already been busy for a half-year. Lars was thrilled and wanted to learn more. He dropped out of the college and enrolled in juggling schools. He also studied fire breathing and the art of juggling. After graduation from high school the student traveled across Europe with two buddies, performing on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. A few years later, he was in contact with a children's circus, where he also was introduced to pantomime, as well as street theater and children's theater.
